Mobility Scooter Servicing and Repair.

Mobility Scooters are prone to general wear and tear and will become weaker as they get older, however with regular maintenance the length of your scooters life can be increased.

A mobility scooter has a number of parts that can break due to wear and usage, these include;

Motor brushes
Tyres and wheels
Plastic body parts
Electrical components

(It is recommended that you do not attempt to fix any electrical or motor related problems yourself as this could cause further damage to the scooter or cause harm to you)

Mobility Scooters can be affected by the weather if they are either stored outside or in a damp place, or if they are continually used in bad weather i.e. rain, or snow. We recommend you use Mobility scooter storage covers.

Generally new scooters do not break down, however there are occasions where a part is faulty or damaged; if this does happen you should get in touch with the company or persons who it was purchased from.
